Last Thursday after I'd gathered all the squash blossoms in my garden I began admiring my neighbours blossoms and his squash-like plant that seemed to cut right through his rows of produce ... like a slice of lightening bolt ripping through me it it finally dawned on me that this was my plant tresspassing on his property SO - I quickly ran over to see if I could get it back ... it had gone much farther than first anticipated ... having all but travelled the full length of his garden (without too much thought I grabbed the end and began winding the vine over my shoulder and when I got to the fence I peeled the wires back over the top of the metal poles and hoisted the thing off my shoulder over onto my side of the fence and put the fence back as it had been before ...
I decided not to try to move it ... it was slightly damaged from its whirlwind trip home ... I'm hoping it will be okay and continue growing the little green balls it was growing ... I don't remember what it is ... I bought a little pumpkin plant - maybe this is it???
... just slightly overgrown ... blame it on the snake AND yippee - I found an eggplant (I'm overcoming my fear of looking in the undergrowth - aka overgrowth! Oh so what - I planted too much (and couldn't bring myself to take any of Joes plants out).
