I've begun going to the garden on Thursdays after teaching drawing class. Thursday last was 9/11 and the tomatoes were beginning to finally show some pinknesses. I gathered about 20 or so tomatoes that were beginning to turn - some had fallen on the ground and were rescued and others looked like they might be red before my next visit. It looks like I might need to begin going more often ... the counters were filled with produce either from the garden or recent visits to nearby farmers markets (Dufferin Grove and Liberty Village).
