pretty gardens' sugar baby, kale & asters

I'm thinking (hoping) my vagabond mystery plant is a sugar baby watermelon ... there are a few little balls like this on it and it looks like it has survived being transplanted (thrown) back onto lot 80! ... and check it out - it's trying to escape and move back into the neighbours lot again (seriously - it's got it's nose through the chicken wire already)

I'm quite pleased with how the sage did in the garden - I want to try to get some kale and make my Tuscan Beans & Kale dish that I like to much once the sage gets a little bigger (NOTE: See After the Bob - end of October 08 posting - I made the Tuscan Beans & Kale Minestra and froze 10 containers of it).

I was thrilled to learn that the huge weed in right-hand the corner of the lot is an aster! I did the right thing and didn't yank it out by the scruff of it's neck (albeit only because I was exhausted that day and didn't have another ounce of energy left to do it and then it was so big it seemed impossible to do)

...what can I say but 'it's a very pretty garden' ... even if I do say so myself & I like that it's such an overgrown lush mess of fruit & veggies & leaves YUM-O
