I've just recently been able to get back onto the YGG website now that 'my' wireless is getting a stronger signal ...

(http://lifeonthebalcony.com/) listed the following website as a place to get a refrigerator pickle recipe ... I knew there had to be something like this (Diane and I made pickles in our desks in grade 5 based on the fact that we were sure that the longer a cucumber sat in a brine the more likely it would be that they would actually become pickles ... how did we not get caught??? - the smell alone had to give us away ... no wonder we weren't that popular - ouch)

... one of the YGG members sent it along as a response to a 'plantlet' asking about the feasibility growing all your own food in Toronto ... 'Nice dream. You should refer to the book Square Foot Gardening to make the most of your garden space. You should also try to get hold of a DVD of The Good Life with Felicity Kendall (an old BBC series) - to keep you sane when you start to realise how crazy you are!!! ' heheh ... gardners are everybit as nuts as any and all artist cronies I've had the good fortune to come across - move over everyone - it's more and more apparent we don't own 'good crazy'
