I'm hardening off the small square pot at the top on the right.

I've put one of my 3rd batch of basils out as a test to see if it's too soon to be hardened off ... heheh ... I'm laughing because the poor little bushy batch has been out on two days when tornadoes touched down in Toronto (parts of the Don Valley have been closed, on the news there was footage of someone in North Toronto shovelling about a foot of hail out of their driveway, etc) ... these little guys are thriving and my roof has been untouched!

Something else I noticed on the news - reports of dogs being poisoned in the off-leash area of High Park - this is beside my garden!  I wonder if someone really hates animals that much?  ... some of the wildlife has been found with poison in their systems too I think ... some kind of fuel I think (I wonder if it's an inadvertant thing where someone has left something without a tight lid on it and the animals are drinking it)?
